TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between Jojo SW (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and its members in connection with the use of the paid email newsletter service "3GPP Spec Alert" (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

"Service" refers to the paid email newsletter and all related services wherein the Company creates content on a designated topic and sends it irregularly to the email addresses of members.

"Member" refers to a customer who has entered into a user agreement with the Company in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and uses the Service provided by the Company.

"Content" refers to all text, images, videos, and other information or materials created by the Company and provided to members through the Service.

"Subscription Fee" refers to the cost that a member pays to the Company in exchange for using the Service.

Article 3 (Stipulation and Amendment of Terms and Conditions)

The Company shall post the content of these Terms and Conditions on the service registration screen or within the website so that members can easily be aware of them.

The Company may amend these Terms and Conditions to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws such as the 「Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions」 and the 「Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.」.

When the Company amends the Terms and Conditions, it shall announce the effective date and the reason for the amendment, along with the current terms, in the manner specified in Paragraph 1, from 7 days prior to the effective date until the day before the effective date. However, in the case of changes that are unfavorable to the member, the announcement will be made with a grace period of at least 30 days.

If a member does not agree to the amended terms, the member may terminate the user agreement.

Article 4 (Provision and Change of Service)

The Company provides the following services to its members:

  • Provision of email newsletter content regarding newly released 3GPP specifications.
  • Any other services provided to members through additional development by the Company or through partnership agreements with other companies.

The Service (newsletter) is sent out irregularly, and the Company does not guarantee the frequency or number of dispatches.This is a characteristic of the Service, and the member agrees to this as a condition of applying for a subscription.

The Company may change all or part of the services provided for operational or technical reasons when there is a significant cause.In the event of changes to the service content, method of use, or hours of use, the reason for the change, the content of the service to be changed, and the effective date shall be notified to the member's email address before the change.

Article 5 (Establishment of User Agreement)

The user agreement is established when a person wishing to become a "Member" (hereinafter "Applicant") agrees to the content of these Terms and Conditions, applies for membership and subscription, and the Company approves such application.

The Company, in principle, shall approve the application of the Applicant.However, the Company may not approve or may terminate the user agreement afterward for applications that fall under any of the following subparagraphs:

  • If the Applicant has previously lost their membership status.
  • If the Applicant does not use their real name or uses the name of another person.
  • If the Applicant provides false information or fails to provide the information requested by the Company.
  • If a child under the age of 14 applies without the consent of their legal guardian.
  • If approval is impossible due to the Applicant's fault or if the application violates other established regulations.

Article 6 (Paid Service Fees and Payment)

The fee for the Service is 3 USD per quarter, as specified on the Service website.

The Company may offer discounts on the service fee for a specific period for promotional purposes, in which case the discounted price will apply.

The Subscription Fee is prepaid on a quarterly basis through the payment method selected by the member.

The Company may change the service fee based on its business judgment.In this case, the changed fee will be announced to members at least 30 days in advance and will apply to new payments made after the announcement.

Article 7 (Obligations of Members)

Members must not engage in the following acts:

  • Providing false personal information or misappropriating the information of others.
  • Altering information posted by the Company.
  • Transmitting or posting information(including computer programs) other than that specified by the Company.
  • Infringing on the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties.
  • Damaging the reputation of or interfering with the business of the Company or third parties.
  • Using content obtained through the Service for profit or non - profit purposes by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods, or allowing a third party to use it, without the prior consent of the Company.

Article 8 (Obligations of the Company)

The Company shall not engage in acts prohibited by relevant laws and these Terms and Conditions or contrary to public morals, and shall do its best to provide the Service continuously and stably.

The Company must have a security system to protect personal information(including credit information) so that members can use the Service safely, and must disclose and comply with its Privacy Policy.

If the Company deems an opinion or complaint raised by a member in connection with the use of the Service to be justified, it must handle it.

Article 9 (Copyright of Content)

Copyright and other intellectual property rights to the "Content" created by the Company belong to the Company.

Members shall not use information obtained through the Service by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods, or allow third parties to use it, without the prior consent of the Company.

Article 10 (Termination of Contract and Restriction of Use)

If a member violates the obligations of these Terms and Conditions, including Article 8(Obligations of Members), the Company may, after prior notification, terminate the contract or restrict the use of the Service.

If a member is overdue on their Subscription Fee two or more times, the Company may terminate the user agreement.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

The Company is exempted from responsibility for providing the Service if it is unable to do so due to a natural disaster or other equivalent force majeure.

The Company is not responsible for any disruption in the use of the Service caused by the member's fault (e.g., incorrect email address, classification as spam, full inbox, etc.).

The content provided by the Company is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a recommendation for any specific product or investment.Members must use the content based on their own judgment and responsibility, and the Company shall not be liable for any losses arising therefrom.

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

The laws of the Republic of Korea shall be the governing law for any disputes arising between the Company and a member regarding these Terms and Conditions.

If a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising from the use of the Service, it shall be submitted to the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.
